ABOUT ME
I’m Leila Bilick and so glad you're here!
I am a poetry educator, an editor, and a nonprofit writer; in essence, a lover of all things language and literature. I would love to work with you and your words. Learn more about my offerings below.
My poetry has been published in a variety of literary magazines, such as Two Thirds North, Lilith Magazine, American Literary Review, and december. I was a semi-finalist for Persea Books’ 2026 Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize in Poetry and a longlist honoree for the Dzanc Books 2024 Poetry Prize.
I earned a BA in English and American Literature from Brandeis University and an MA in English from UMass Boston. I have more than a decade of writing and editing experience in the nonprofit sector. I live in Los Angeles with my two daughters, one of whom wrote me a haiku for my birthday.
